Nepal has few internet providers and the amount of bandwidth to the country is severely limited due to the geographical location of the country. Since Nepal is land locked and surrounded by the largest mountains in the world there is no landline connection to the rest of the internet. All the connections in the country are satellite based which is slow and costly and is a serious hinderance to it's internet development.
